That’s how I saw other people carrying on; they would put you down if you talked about doing something that was different or uncommon. So, I became critical of myself whenever I had a thought to improve my life and my environment. I wanted to become a Spiritual Writer, Yet…

I would say to myself, “You can’t do that, so don’t waste your time just to embarrass yourself to the point where people will laugh and talk about you like the idiot you are trying to be.” So, I didn’t entertain ideas that would be criticized by my friends, family, and the community I lived in. I became bitter and difficult to get along with. I ended up very unhappy with people and especially with myself.
